We have moved our enrollment process to use CampDoc. It is a secure service that will combine our registration and health records process that can be reached using the following links. If you encounter any problems with the online system, please contact us. If you are registering a camper from outside the United States please read the International Campers section below before applying.
Session | Ages | Dates 2025 | Fees* |
---|---|---|---|
1st | 12-18 | June 27 – July 17 | $2800 |
2nd | 12-18 | July 18 – Aug 7 | $2800 |
Full | 12-18 | June 27 – Aug 7 | $5000 |
*A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to enroll. The remainder is due two weeks before the camper arrives at camp. Payments can be made on our website, in your CampDoc account (which can accept payments or even set up automatic payments to spread them over time), over the phone with a credit card, or by check. There is no refund for early withdrawal, cancellation, or dismissal.
**In the event of Chop Point needing to cancel our summer programs we would not hold the deposit as fully non-refundable. We reserve the right to hold up to 50% of the deposit to cover the camps’ off-season costs.
International Campers
Please note we limit the number of non-native English speakers in each cabin, to ensure English remains the primary language used. Due to the popularity of our program with non-native English speakers, these spaces fill quickly. If you are considering enrolling at Chop Point, and English is not your first language, we highly recommend you submit an international camper application to us as soon as possible. We then will contact you to let you know if we have room in our program for your camper. This is only an application and does not mean your son or daughter has a confirmed spot until we contact you and you pay the deposit to Chop Point.
Additional Notes
- A rough-dry laundry service is included in the fee. Chop Point assumes no responsibility for loss or damaged personal property.
- All campers who fly to/from camp must use the Portland Jetport (PWM), not Boston. Our staff transports campers to/from the Portland Jetport, at no charge, on the opening and closing days of camp only. Note: campers’ flights must depart no earlier than 8 am on closing day.
- There is a $100 accommodation fee per day for those who, because of travel arrangements, must arrive before or remain beyond the session dates. Transportation to and from Portland other than opening and closing dates is $50.00. (Thus, if you book your camper to arrive the day before camp opens, the total fee would be $150.)
Medical Forms
All campers must complete both a Health History and a Medical Professional form. The Health History is now part of our online enrollment process. The information can be completed over time, in more than one sitting, and the system will save your changes. The Medical Professional Form must be printed and completed by a doctor. You can then send it to us via email, fax, or upload it into the camper’s profile on CampDoc. We require an evaluation to be done by a professional within two years of your attending camp.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. You can call the camp office at 207-443-5860 to speak with Annie, Jean, or David.
