What to Bring

Chop Point does not provide a specific clothing list. Campers dress informally in casual clothing including shorts, T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, and jeans. Other necessities include warm pajamas, a rain suit (for canoeing, kayaking, biking & hiking trips), sleeping bag, at least two nicer outfits, bathing suits, several changes of socks and underwear, shoes, rugged outdoor shoes for hiking trips, towels, twin size sheets, pillow cases, soap, toothbrush, flashlight and a laundry bag.

Optional items include backpack, writing paper, Bible, beach towel or blanket, tennis shoes, tennis racket, tennis balls, camera, musical instrument, art supplies, athletic gear, fishing gear, books, bicycle, and a waterproof bag for keeping sleeping bag dry on canoe/kayak trips.  If you need to have music for your private listening in your cabin please bring an MP3 player or device without any cellar abilities.

Please DO NOT BRING: knife (or any weapon), radio or CD player, hunting equipment, computer, game boy, or cell phone(if the device can accept a sim card or cellular service it will not be allowed to be kept with the camper).  Campers may not bring or possess illegal drugs or alcohol. (doing so is grounds for dismissal)

Blankets and pillows may be provided by the camp if needed. All clothing MUST be labeled with the first and last name. A laundry marker works best.

Chop Point assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged personal property.  Please leave very valuable things at home.
