To most people, Maine’s summer weather is ideal. On average, the warmest month at Chop Point is July, where high temperatures hover around 80°F (27°C). At night, things cool down to the mid 60s (which makes for wonderful sleeping weather!). Passing thunderstorms are fairly frequent throughout the summer months, but sunshine and partly cloudy skies dominate the weather forecast.
Campers should come prepared for weather ranging from 60-90°F, rain or shine.
